Dug up some more about Zach Feinstein. Rich Grawer said that Feinstein, despite of his lack of serious basketball experience, is not the worst to try out to make it to the NBA but will be among the worst. Feinstein's free throw shooting got the positive note of Grawer's attention as he hit 100% of his shots.

**I wonder how many he FT shots did he attempt.

Feinstein is now interviewed by numerous Radio Stations at the United States and has gained significant popularity.

**The NBA's William Hung in the making?

Here's the link of one of Feinstein's interview:

I gotta admit I already admire this guy. He's got the guts and creativity to stir public attention and it could be stepping stone to fame or something bigger in the future. It could be his way of letting the world know that he's an A-grader at college. This is a very unique case and has been garnering attention real fast.

I won't be surprised if he gets picked for marketing's sake. Mark Cuban perhaps taking the big leap of picking Feinstein?

    Welcome to the NBA show.

    The D'Antoni chase continues, intensifies

With Chicago being reported already making "advanced" discussions with Phoenix head coach Mike D'Antoni, Donnie Walsh and the New York Knicks, who were out of the picture last week other than being D'Antoni's bait for a raise, made a staggering $24M for four years offer for D'Antoni's services. Such source said that D'Antoni is already the Knicks' number 1 choice but still had ESPN analyst and former Knick guard Mark Jackson prominent in their list.

Despite the offer, it's said that D'Antoni might still be interested to coach Chicago. Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf and D'Antoni is said to meet face-to-face before the week ends. Reinsdorf owns a home at the Phoenix area.

The main concerns about bringing in D'Antoni to the Bulls though is that GM John Paxson is more interested in bringing in a defensive oriented coach other than an offensive one like D'Antoni. This might turn out into a D'Antoni-Kerr Part 2. As for the Knicks, Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph might hinder his "run and gun" game. A plus though is Quentin Richardson who played under D'Antoni for a season at Phoenix.

If D'Antoni takes the Knicks offer, he'll be the third highest paid coach in the NBA behind the Lakers Phil Jackson ($12M) and San Antonio's Greg Popovich ($7M and undisclosed amount from his work at the Spurs higher office).

I sense a huge season for Miami in 2008-2009...

If they get Mike Beasley (damn, I so wish that to happen!), hell, their trio of Wade-Marion-Beasley can give NBA powerhouses a run for their money...^^

Si D' Antoni na ang coach sa Knicks.

NEW YORK, May 10 (AP) -- Mike D'Antoni is set to become coach of the New York Knicks, bringing his entertaining offensive style from the Phoenix Suns to a team coming off one of the worst seasons in its history.

A person within the NBA told The Associated Press on Saturday that the Suns coach has accepted an offer from the Knicks. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because no official announcement had been made.

D'Antoni had two years left on his contract. Suns owner Robert Sarver wouldn't confirm that D'Antoni had taken the New York job, but said, "Mike called me this morning to thank me, so I figured this was up.''

The offer is reportedly for $24 million over four years, making him one of the league's highest-paid coaches. The Chicago Bulls also interviewed D'Antoni for their coaching job.

The Knicks said they would not comment. A message was left for D'Antoni and his agent, Warren LeGarie.

D'Antoni led the Suns to a 55-27 record last season and was coach of the year in 2005. He replaces Isiah Thomas, who was fired in April after the Knicks went 23-59, tying the franchise record for losses in a season.

D'Antoni had a 232-96 regular-season record the past four years, but the Suns were eliminated in the first round by San Antonio last month. The Suns then gave D'Antoni permission to speak to other teams about openings, but hoped he would remain with them.

Instead, he becomes the Knicks' sixth different coach since the start of the 2002-03 season.

New Knicks president Donnie Walsh had been looking for a coach since removing Thomas on April 18. He previously met with former Knicks guard and television analyst Mark Jackson and Knicks assistant Herb Williams. But he took his time to see what coaches would become available during the postseason.

He found one who won at least 54 games each of the last four seasons. The Knicks, meanwhile, are coming off their seventh straight losing season and haven't won a playoff game since 2001.

With no Steve Nash, no shooters, no Amare and Shawn Marion athleticism, and obviously no on and off court leadership, I wonder how would Mike D'Antoni turn the Knicks around. Send Stephon Marbury once again just like what he did in Phoenix?
