Really? Stop exaggerating... It's embarrassing...
Many Filipinos excel?? That may be true but compare that to the British, Chinese, Americans, Japanese, Germans etc... and see that WE ARE NOTHING SPECIAL....

i think what inkubuz really means is his expression of joy and jubilation. it's like ur so happy that you tend to say it in a way u could not describe. it's like ur saying "im d top of the world" or "the best lover on earth" or "d dumbest comment by an istoryan on ds planet". its nothing exaggeration here neither its embarrasing. does it mean since we're not a 1st world country (like those u mentioned, except china of course), we no longer have d right to say those "high falooting yet desirable and deserving" expressions? and if a filipino reaps an award in a global arena, does it mean "its nothing special" or "who cares" or "why?" to you coz there's someone (people from 1st worlds) better than us? im sure wa jud ka kasuway ug award mao nang u find urself nothing special. c'mon guys, as a filipino, we deserve to be special. no matter what of kind of government we have. as an individual, there r lots of good things to say, to do. one is saying good to our own kind, especially for fellow pinoy or fellow cebuano or fellow istoryan perhaps. kadaghan jud angay istorya nga nindot. dli ra nang "we are nothing special".

but unfortunately other people benefits from it...

it only shows how government poorly handle our professionals...

If every great teachers/professionals here in PI will go abroad for greener pastures.. Philippines will be getting worst!
