personally, i view internet as modern self-kaisiao option or alternative... these could be one good way for shy people who really wanted to find their love which more likely the net offer them a safe way to avoid embarrassment, thus less pressure...
however, most people dont show their true self in this way.. unless you eventually meet in person, we cant really say " i know them".. the net only provide a opener, but the rest have to act out in a friendship/courting way.. they say love knows no bounderies.. it can exist anywhere anytime. however, you have to know the person outside the net sooner rather later for it to be considered real...

sometimes people have difficulty in speaking their minds out in person... mas comfortable man ta ron kay naa ta mga ingon ani na technology.. mas "braver" man ang mga pips, and it's easy to find someone on the net...
