IMO, the expansion card is just an expansion card. it will just make way for additional usb ports. but it does not make ur mb's usb1.1 into usb2.0 speed specification.

IMHO, it does'nt mean because ur board has USB 1.1 ma USB 1.1 pud ang speed sa imo USB 2.0 Expansion Card. I have a Via Mobo here that only has USB 1.1, installed a USB 2.0 Expansion Card (ViA Chipset) and I got speed increases when using USB 2.0 over USB 1.1.
