Great analogy!hahaha... You're right, mao jud bitaw nay epekto noh kung bati ang pagkarecord, gamay ra jud mabuhat sa mastering... But you know what Bry, I have heard a few albums though nga would have sounded better kung tarong lang pagkamaster... one of which is urbandub's embrace it still lacked a few hints here and there but after tinkering with the EQ, i came up with something better, just imagine what great mastering would have done with just what they have... But you're right, you need to have great recording if you want to give the engineer a better field to master...
