If you've been to most of these places (the top 19 cities) you'd realize, yeah they are actually more livable than Cebu City.

im 100% sure you're not from cebu..so how can you even compare your province to cebu?i bet you've only stayed in cebu a day or two..not enough to make that claim..

i have been to a few place in luzon and mindanao,and though i know cebu should not be no1, at least top lang 10 unta..anyhow,it only proves that surveys(especially the unreliable ones) do not and cannot tell the tell the entirety of the facts

The difference between you and me siguro, is I was able to travel and see other place, unlike other Cebuanos nga very miopic and very xenophobic ang attitude. So we're in the top 20? Maybe its a wake up call for us all.

If we want to remain competitive, maybe its time we look at what's happening in Cebu instead of crying out foul nga "ay naa na sad ni hidden agenda ning mga taga Manila". That attitude in the long run will lead to the downfall of Cebu. 20th place is telling us something, it certainly is worth an introspection as to where our beloved province is heading.

ako lumad man gyud ko nga Cebuano and i'm proud of it. wa man gani koy bagutbot.. pero kaadto na diay mo sa tanang 19 ka lugar especially BACOLOD nga number 1? tan-awa lang ang CEBU karon, industrialized tuod pero over populated pud kaayo mura nag MANILA. daghan pa krimen mahitabo.

I agree with you! sakto gyud ka, problema with most of our igsu-on nga mga Cebuanos very defensive. Cebu is great and all, pero if you go outside the province you will all realize nga other places have catched up if they haven't even done better. It's a wake up call for us all. Why not do something about it to improve our placement in the survey instead of complain nga dili valid ang survey.

ive also been to a lot of places and comparing them to cebu only makes me love cebu more..i guess lain2x lang ta ug basihanan sa atong kahigugma sa lugar'ng natawhan
