utorrent over Globe DSL problem

kinsa using Globe DSL karon and naa pud utorrent? nakasuway mo nga hinay kaayo ang connection? from slow to no connection gyud. tapos naa error mo appear sa ubos sa utorrent nga yellow triangle, kung imo double click mo gawas ang "speed guide" (also accessible from utorrent if you go to options>speed guide). when you check ang port forwarding, mo sulti nga wa kuno natarong forward ang port. noticed this on 2 PC's na using globe dsl connection pero wa man problem using PLDT DSL.

kinsa naa idea unsaon resolve ani? salamat daan...

prolink siya and yes, ok mani sauna, wala tong error icon sa ubos sa utorrent

check your portforwarding settings bro..

goto portforward.com look for your modem and set it up.

- off ang windows firewall

- check if the ports used in the program are open.
- check your ISP if there are no issues in it
- see to it that your system is clean from malwares
- enable upnp in your networking equipment
- see to it that no other program or config filtering the torrenting client or port it is using
- utorrent has complex configuration, see to it you didnt change any inside the advance option

sometimes, torrenting is filled with luck. if that certain torrent captures sufficient seeders and peers, then it shall have a good output, but if not, it will take a vacation leave to finish.

okay. i had that problem too before. it even re-occurred a couple weeks ago. i went to great lengths to know why i wasn't getting the green check icon when it was all ok before. i updated utorrent to the latest, did the manual port forwarding but nada. still the red exclamation mark. until i rebooted the prolink to its default setting and re entered back the correct globelines settings. and that's what i did again the last time my utorrent wasn't forwarding again. works everytime. somehow the prolink get screwed up over time i think. and, i don't even do the manual port forwarding to it anymore. utorrent does it.
give it a try! caution: u have to have your globelines settings handy coz u cant connect to the internet w/o it.
