Thank you for the updates and good luck on the new server and with vbulletin. I've been with this site for as long as I can remember, back when I was still in college, and I welcome this refreshing change. However, I have some concerns. I spoke with a friend of mine who is also a regular member here, and I told him of the upcoming changes and asked him if he has updated his profile with the correct e-mail, and to my horror, he hasn't heard anything about it despite the countless announcements everywhere where just about any concerned istoryan will notice. He must thank me a million times because his e-mail wasn't updated at all. So, could there be perhaps another way of notifying everyone about this other than the topic posts stickied everywhere, or the e-mails you sent (if the e-mails were updated at all?)?? What about mass PM?? (but I think that's not a very good suggestion), or a pop-up maybe when one enters the site?? Or replace one of your banner ads with your own catchy animated announcement (sounds cheesy, but it may work). I'm concerned about the other people who rarely log-on or those who are maybe too absent-minded to notice the warnings. Nevertheless, I'm anticipating a flood of complaints when the move takes effect, so I hope you can find better ways to inform everyone. Good luck and More power to you!! I'm with you on this one, and am notifying my friends to update their e-mails.

Hi Nezumix, I will explore the pop-up idea 1 week prior to the actual move. That should be enough. ^_^
