As per the news, the Office of the Ombudsman will be filing charges against the culprit of graft and corruption. I guess the Ombudsman gathered evidence when they were silent during the height of the controversy. Nonetheless, it didn't stop them from doing their part of the job and pinpointing the people behind the overpriced lampposts.
It only shows the Ombudsman is still doing its job, albeit silently. After all, they don't need to expose such investigation to the media because it might ruin the process. In as much as they don't need public exposure unlike those opposition senators, they can efficiently do their jobs without being in front of TV.
