Depende sa Area. Kung office Area gani nga desktop ang computers, go for wired. Kanang hotel rooms, wired jud na but if naay wireless coverage mas maayo sad.
kanang room nga naa mga guest, pwde na wireless.
I'd go for both. WiFi signal won't be that strong in rooms so wired is more preferable, as just what most suggested here. But just to be sure, why not put some box outside as well. Who knows, it might come handy some time in the future. So if all public areas are WiFi ready already, including all the convention halls, then I think it's all set to go.But for you out there... Which do you prefer WIFI or Wired?
Maybe also take into consideration that some people might prefer wired over wireless connection, especially in their respective rooms.
People will still need a good bandwidth because most of these people are using video conferencing, even in their rooms. Or maybe some are watching videos online or even playing online games.isa pa, people who uses internet dira kay mag browse2x lang, dili man jud na mag download..so internet reliability kay dili kaayo issue..thnx
WIRED is still faster than WireLess
ug duol ra imo AP sa rooms ok ra man siguro, mas ideal pod sa AP na a extended antenna, pariha ako nakit an sa manila every corner sa agianan paingon sa mga rooms ang location sa mga antenna.
I go for both and i agree with your plan..Originally Posted by db_laurel81

For me it is much better that a hotel has both wired and wireless access available for guests. Let's consider the fact that Not all computers have both wired and wireless adapters and not all guests are aware of that. If guest's PC doesn't have a wireless card but has an ethernet adapter, he still have the option to use wired connection and the reason to stay in the hotel. Same with a guest who doesn't have a ethernet adapter but has a wireless card, he still have the option to connect thru wireless and still have the reason to stay in the hotel.
i lived in marriott for about 10 months with my dad. i prefer wired! hehehe.
could i make a suggestion? provide an ethernet cable also. because there was a time that papa couldnt get his email because he forgot his cable in the office.
for me, since i'm always on an out of town trip and been to a lot of hotels nationwide, it would be better that you
will use wireless internet. First, it will provide convenience to a lot of customers specially those who always bring with
them wifi laptops. Second, I think the cost would be a lot higher when you have to install network ports on each room/area
of the hotel with network cables. Third, its always good marketing strategy when your hotel is a wifi zone specially if
it includes the room.
I hope this can help you.
naa pa pahabol.
If the hotel is customer-oriented and won't mind with the cost of this project, it would be better that you
should install both wired and wireless internet connection. This will provide convenience to customers for net
access both for non-wifi laptop users and wifi laptop users.
