Lesson for the day: That business establishments shouldn't take customer service for granted. We hate being passed around like a basketball.

I am not a member of fitness first. But even so people from fitness first should be prepared for these kinds of things. Its part of business. Your reactions for me seems to justify your customer service blunders.

Hitting on former customers will not do you any good. It just muddles everything. More people will have 2nd thoughts going to you. So your reactions are defeating yourself.

To constantine and ASS26: I guess it's useless to reason with you guys. Like I said, we're not complaining anymore. We're just proving our point because you guys don't seem to understand... and I doubt that you ever will. We are just REPLYING to your replies to this old thread of mine. And who ever said we're not moving on with our lives? Just because we're replying here doesn't mean we're not moving on. I guess that goes the same with you. One thing's for sure, I do admire your loyalty to fitness first... Fitness first is lucky to have you as members.

ASS26: Your nick suits you very well. I don't believe that you're victim and still thinks it's ok. It would be a pleasure to do business with you and cheat you out of your money since I know you're ok with it.

Please do continue replying to this thread. It's people like you who make forums interesting. I wouldn't mind having this thread always bumped up to the top. Nothing would make me happier than to have lots of people read this thread of mine and see what kind of idiotic replies you guys have.

and to Zirv, very well stated.

What are you trying to say Constantine? That only members have the right to complain? You think members who have concerns and complains that weren't addressed by the establishment correctly would still want to continue business with them? Just think about it.

Constantine, how would I ever make you understand? I've already stated in my post that I admit I was mistaken by overlooking the Fineprint at the back and I'm sure majority of their members are guilty of that. Who won't hurt their eyes reading a whole page of words that has a font size of 4, 5 or even smaller? But as what I've said, it would really be nice if the establishment you're getting into would be kind enough to explain verbally some policies esp financial matters right? If they really value their customers, they would do what's best for them and not trick them. Blaming all confusions that's happening to their customers and saying that it's all their fault just because they didn't read the fineprint. Yes, We have our responsibilities and they have theirs.

And you know who's pathetic? Those certain people who signed up to be a member of this forum just to reply to this thread, and this thread alone. I guess it's not us who's got nothing better to do with our lives. It's them who I pity...

and to KWR, thanks for the offer. But as what I've said, we already left this problem behind. We just paid the additional 1 month fee, eventhough we didn't get to use it (thinking that our membership has already stopped), to finish this problem. I even know someone who cut his credit card coz fitness first won't stop billing him... I also know someone who wrote a letter to a certain bank that he refuses to pay his fitness first dues... all of them thinking that their membership has already terminated. It's just not us. Anyway, I wish you all the luck in your company... but I'm sorry to say, my views on it won't be changed anymore. God Bless and Good Luck to your business.

yup, di na sila modawat kung way credit card. heck, i even asked if i could pay for one year membership for my wife and I in cash, they refused it. unya, di man ko magcredit card because i always pay in cash or check.

what's also funny is that the account executive was even telling me to just borrow a credit card from a friend. can you believe that? hehehe

@pnoize2k4: What? They told you that? Borrow a credit card from a friend? That's really funny... Good thing you didn't... coz kamo sa imong friend ang mag away ana. LOL.

But I think they already accept cash now or was that before. I have a friend who paid in cash. The same thing happened though... she stopped on the 3rd month (again, fitness first failed to inform her that their contract is open-ended) and a staff of fitness first won't stop calling her and telling her to pay her 4th month bill. Good thing she paid in cash... coz way mabuhat ang Fitness First. She just kept on rejecting their calls. For us who used credit cards, kita ang kawawa. If we don't pay, it's the bank that we owe and it's the bank who goes after us. I had no choice but to pay my 4th month bill coz di ko ganahan ug gubot. The others who refused to pay, either had their credit cards stopped or they wrote a dispute letter to the banks stating their refusal to pay fitness first. Sakto gyud ka Zirv, HAOSIAO gyud ilang ways. Ilad ilad ba... lipat lipat...

At least now, a lot of us experienced this and we were able to share them to you... hope we were able to help existing members or members-to-be. Good Luck.

Hahahaha! damn so funny! These guys kept on replying Ryan's posts... wala sila nag huna2x, they are making Fitness First even worser than it was when this thread was started...

Anyway, i'll still be enrolling at fitness first by december, they have the best cardio machines in cebu... BUT this time, KLAROHON NAKO ang ako agent... ill be there for only 4-6 months lang, just for cutting... I thank Ryan for the information...

Make this thread a lesson for everybody... whether you've experience this kind of problem already or for your future encounters... hehehe...

should i say, THE END?
