what's wrong with my eyes??!

i can see yellow spot over the whites (sclera). i had it checked with a physician and he denies it was jaundice and was mere "dirty sclera" (kuno). he advised me to get rid of eye irritants by wearing eyeglasses etc. but it seem doesn't work. I STILL HAVE THOSE yellow-tinged stuff and it's kind of annoying. can't face people with those. HELPP!!

jaundice give you a yellow sclera all throughout.... not just spots.... not just a tinge... It should be deep yellow.

are you exposed to fumes in your work?

a lot of people have dirty sclerae...especially karon. tungod na sa pollution, dust, etc.try observing the eyes of those people working on the streets (cigarette vendors, etc)it's usually the exposed part sa eye.those covered by the upper and lower lids usually looks normal(white).kung apil ang covered area basin jaundice na.but as ajol said it should be yellow not just a tinge of yellow.if you're really troubled by it you could have your liver checked.hepatitis panel or liver function test...or try another doctor.

EXACTLY. it make sense that it is not a jaundice because the discoloration is only on the whites that are "exposed". upper and lower eyelids (in the sclera) are normally clear. AM NOT exposed to any fumes nor usually on the street. JUST a guy who lives a normal life. i actually put eyeglasses on so people wont notice it but i dont want to deal with those all my life.are there remedies over the counter??

as far as i know wala remedy ang dirty sclerae but you ca go to an ophthalmologist and have it checked.

noh. murag grabe pa man na sa viral infection if that's the case.
