GOVERNMENT MADE CRISIS TO DIVERT ATTENTION FROM ZTE SCANDAL..... AGREE or DISAGREE
No it is a Global issue.. 60% of the world needs rice stable as a commodity.. it's NOT only a specific to the food shotage in the Phils everyone in the world has this problem.
Regarding ZTE it's all about here -> http://www.youtube.com/user/patriots4truth
Focusing the money on agricultural rice is economic suicide.
Afterall, typhoons continue to ravage the central luzon plains which has the biggest harvest grounds of rice in the country.
The government should focus on attracting investors instead.
more investors>more jobs>can cope with financial crisis
You're right, we should continue focus on the ZTE to leave our fellow Filipinos to rot in torment, and then after the ZTE scandal becomes a failure, the opposition ninnies will say "GMA is not helping blah, blah, blah" Cry me a river.
And also people didn't see the disastrous side effects of increased wage
Let's just say a company will increase a workers wage by P125, so the company will also increase the price of it's products to cope up with it's expenditures, ang result domino effect. Everything will rise, the jobless will die or either become criminals to survive. The poor people will continue to whine, the Opposition uses this as opportunity to blame the president, the result it will leave rebels ad corrupt officials unchecked. Don't let these PALPAKERS mind whip your ideas, increasing your wage will not save your soul.
And the other reason for this terrible rice crisis, is because the whinny poor keeps on manufacturing babies
The cause of rise of cost is because of the rise of demand, the higher the demand the higher the cost of the product.

another way of looking at it is to look at china.
china with more than a billion people to feed.
what was once fertile agricultural land, are now being converted into cities.
even its local farmers are leaving their farm to work for higher wages in the cities. china has grown so fast in less than 10 years. now the rest of asia like thailand, india, malaysia is also growing like china. where can you find more fertile agricultural land? and soon where can you find a farmer or who wants to be a farmer?
