yup... i agree... it depends on the compatibility...
i think what the guy means is tweaking.. yep you may need to download 3rd party software to tweak your settings for a specific proggy but it doesnt have to sound that bad like "downloading a lot of drivers"
bcn sa tweaking but u only need 1 driver to make the device work
There are quite few drivers for ATI or Nvidia.
For ATI has two widiley/famously used drivers the Official Catalyst and the Omega Drivers.
Same also for Nvidia the Official Forceware driver and the Omega driver.
