New Orleans is having it's dream season. Aside from being the number 1 team in the West, the Hornets are breaking and getting close to some of it's franchise records. Their win over Golden State was the Hornets' 54th and tied for the franchise most number of wins, the previous one being set during the 1996-97 season. They hit 9 triples in the game and set the most threes hit in a single season with 592, beating the previous record of 591 also set during the 1996-97 season. Head coach Byron Scott has set his most wins in a single season as a coach. New Orleans also set a franchise record for most road wins with 25.

Chris Paul's 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists effort was his 4th career triple double.

With Denver's loss, Phoenix automatically advances to the playoffs despite losing to Dallas and leaves Dallas, Denver, and Golden State slugging it off for the last 2 spots. Denver and Golden State are both tied at 46-31 and trail Dallas by 1 full game. Denver and Golden State will be facing off again soon on a game that might decide the fate of both teams for the season.

3 teams for the last 2 spots, it's something to look out for the rest of the season.

Kevin Durant just made a statement for his ROY campaign.

The Nuggets played horrible defense. They can't play like that in the playoffs and expect to win... tsk tsk tsk...

Dako pa ug chance ang Denver. Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors are up next. If they win both games, then medyo hayag ang 8th spot. The problem is, both games are on the road. Denver is not a good road team, 15-23 ilang road record karon.

Pwede pa na. Though personally I want the Warriors to be in the 8th spot because I want to see Golden State stage another upset. Looking on the other side, I think Denver really don't deserve to be in the playoffs. They have Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson and a very reliable line-up yet they weren't able to win more games than they did now. Their defense is also so mediocre even though they have Marcus Camby. Overall, they're not working good as a team.

But anything can still happen, they can still salvage the last spot in the playoffs. Or maybe even both Golden State and Denver make it and Dallas will once again choke. Dallas will be playing Seattle twice, Utah, Portland, and New Orleans in their last games, 3 of which at Dallas. The problem is, Dallas has been good lately. They're 2-1 against winning teams after falling 0-10 since Jason Kidd came in.
