    Spurs sixth straight win? well im not surprised. and nobody's going to be. expect some damage on play-offs.

    however, im not impressed the way duncan played. 4-13 FG. too bad for the big fundamental. at least Finley made his shots now, and ohhh Manu.. ur such a record against the timberwolves.

    San Antonio is the first Western Conference team to win 50 games this season but they remained at number 2 spot behind New Orleans.

    Western Conference standings:

    New Orleans (49-22)
    San Antonio (50-23)
    Los Angeles Lakers (49-24)
    Utah (48-25)
    Houston (49-23)
    Phoenix (48-24)
    Dallas (45-27)
    Golden State (44-27)
    **Denver (44-2
    **Portland (38-35)

    9th seeded Denver is just a half game behind 8th seeded Golden State and a full game behind 7th seeded Dallas.

    Upcoming games:

    Denver - Golden State and Phoenix (back-to-back)
    Golden State - Denver, Dallas, Sacramento, and Denver
    Dallas - Golden State, Los Angeles Clippers, and Golden State

    A significant change in the Western Conference standings is expected in a few days.

    Denver won and moved past Golden State for the 8th spot in the West. Good thing Denver won, now Phoenix is a few more games above the 8th spot.

    Thanks to Suns win over the Nets, which are already a few games behind Atlanta for the East 8th spot.

    LONG LIVE 8TH SEEDERS!!!

    The Mavericks, on the other hand has the remaining schedule:

    @Golden State, LA Clippers
    Golden State
    @LA Lakers, Phoenix

    When Dirk returns:

    Seattle
    Utah
    @Portland, Seattle
    New Orleans

    Golden State Warriors four road swing:

    San Antonio, Dallas, Memphis, Phoenix

    After this win for the Nuggets, back-to-back games vs:

    @Phoenix and host the Suns the next (these are critical games, of course)

    Tough schedule for Dallas without Dirk Nowitzki. They'll be facing playoffs bound and caliber teams and with their ongoing slump against teams with winning records, it doesn't really look good.

    The teams that made it to the 2006 NBA Finals are now on a jinx. Miami and Dallas faced off in the 2006 NBA Finals and both bowed out in the first round last season. This season, Miami is officially eliminated from the playoffs race while Dallas is struggling to keep their hold for a playoffs spot. It seems that both teams will never see action in this season's postseason games.
