according to what i've researched, the lot located in a commercial zone will be taxed higher. I think it's 50% in getting its assessed value. plus a special education tax pa which is a consistent 1% of the assessed value in Cebu.. But there are still a lot of plus for other improvements like houses, swimmingpools, etc...

Assessed value , in a commercial lot, is 50% times its fair market value.. your basic real estate tax is about 20% of the assessed value... maybe i got my data mixed but as of now i think thats how it is done... I will do my homework nalang and will inform you in the future...
