sis naa ko na dungan... bati ug skill training ang cebu doc... dili sila hanas wenit comes to skill and procedures... so far ako amiga nurse naman sa sotto ang well heard na skul and nindot ug performance kai ang USP jud college of nursing... well trained sila sa dean and c.i. nila... some procedures na dapat licencend nurse ra mu buhat pa assist sila ug tud lu-an...

really bati diay skill training? hehe na hapit gani mi patyun sa mga CI when it comes to retdems hehe,., you can't expect a student nurse to know everything in the hospital,., they are there to be exposed and to be trained and to pollish more the skills needed for them to be good nurses in the future, weall know that,,,,and to learn from experiences in that span of time on duty,.,

as what my CI told me on my first hospi duty, "im not after for your grades, your requirements and etc. but i am after on developing your skills and learning what you hav'nt learned in school", i had a good morning that time hehe,.,

Hello,

I'm very new here but I'm sure my opinions will still help.

I studied in SWU (first year -- BSN) and I transferred to CDU and shifted to PT. I actually stopped going to school (for two years now) and I've been working ever since. I am currently working in a Market Research Firm, located in Lapu-lapu, as an Editor. It's pretty much like a call center but we don't do customer service, if you get my drift.

Anyway, I've seen people working in the market research industry (or even call centers) who has already earned their bachelor's degree. I even met a registered nurse here and it was quite a shock for me to know that she's working as an agent, and not practicing her profession.

My stand is this -- It really doesn't matter what school or university you came from. In the end, what matters is your knowledge and how you nurtured it throughout your college years. I know a lot people who came from what you call "not-so-popular" industries, yet they are very successful. Hell, they even surpass those who graduated from very prominent universities.
