o yea, i forgot to tell you. kabantay ka anang mga hard water stains sa imong aquarium? kanang inig hubas sa water due to evaporation bah, tsk, i forgot the term. basta kana siyang lisud kaayo limpyuhan bisag scrub-an bah. delikado man daw mugamit ug bleach kai basin naai mahabilin nya dili kaayo effective. suwayi gamit ug vinegar diba tang2x gyud dayun. safe pa gyud. i sometimes do 50% water changes nya mag scrub ko sa stains using a small amount of vinegar samtang ga-langoy2x ang mga barbs ug ang duha ka RES sa sulod sa tank.

You can also try to clean the mineral residues with Coke or Pepsi kung gahi jud kaayo. hehehe

btw, i use purified water on my tank......

don't use purified water on your tank. it could lack several minerals and some elements na kinahanglan sa imong turts. tap water lang, then i dechlorinate...

about the eye... it's vitamin deficiency and/or irritation because of the food and water. tagai ug carrots (gamit anang para panit ug patatas para sayunan ra sila ug bite) at least twice a week. if you could get hold of ZooMed's turtle eye medication (available ra sa US) payts kaayo. pero kai wala mana diri, palit gyud ug Cod Liver Oil nya dab it on the turt's eyes once a day gamit ang cottonbuds. mawagtang na after a couple of days.
