Movies, video games, etc. are all made of moving images ... single images one after the other to display the impression of action. At a certain point, people don't notice single images, but a moving image. Obviously the more frames per second, the more fluid the illusion. People will say they notice the difference between 30FPS and 100FPS and so try to get their FPS as high as they can to increase their online e-peen. But the fact is, only a small amount of people can actually notice any difference. For most people, even 15FPS is suitable. Anyone playing WoW with a million mods has probably noticed this.

15 FPS sakto na pwede na maintineran. Sa akong desktop nga pwerteng hinaya, I play GUILD WARS with up to 23FPS - mao nanay kina paspasan. Pero makaduwa gihapon.. dili lang gyud fluid ang movements. While sa akong XPS, I can go up to 70FPS, nindot gyud kaayo ang movements plus I don't have to compromise with the quality of the graphics (kay sa akong desktop, I have to turn down all the shadings, textures, etc. or else magdagan kog 13FPS).

movies play at about 24 FPS if i'm not mistaken..
and the answer to the question of the OP, higher FPS ang resulta sa mas-kusog.
so kung ng-duwa ka at around 30 FPS, payts ra kaayo na, dili na mag-ungot2x. aim for 30 FPS..
