    Default DELETE: American versus Japanese

Dear Mods, please delete this thread na. I think there's no question about it. Japanese toy makers are better at making female figures.

    ---

Ever since I restarted collecting toys this month, I never saw American-designed female toys that made me want to buy them while those Japanese-designed ones made me look at them (especially the 'sexy' ones, if you know what I mean). This makes me believe that Japanese toymakers are better at making female toys than their American counterparts.

Compare Japanese Batgirl with American Batgirl below (of course, this is not a comprehensive gallery but again base sa akong physical and online window shopping, mas babaye dating sa mga female figures designed in Japan).

as one anime collector puts it "DC-Direct's attempt to replicate the anime look on their sexy superheroes, fails miserably..."

but kani i think japanese ni, made by kotobukiya..

@yoncha: What did I tell you? I'm a total noob. I can't even tell the difference between fake manga-look and real manga-look. Bai, dili lagi nako makita image imo gi-post.

I just finished watching IkkiTousen (censored version, grrr) and the toys especially Kanu Unchou are rrowrr but I still wouldn't buy them (expensive and un-articulated). Naa unta trading figures version. But that point is, they're sexier than the American 'adult p()rnstars' statuettes who don't even look like their real-world counterparts.

that's a necessary compromise when you want a figure to be articulated..

but for the likes of me, whose more of an aesthetic collector than a regular child at heart and deed hobbyist who can't resist playing their items, mas preferable gyd nako mga static figures lang, malingaw raman ko ug tan.aw.. if articulated or transformable man gani, then they should decently look good even with those joints..

hehehe.. Ikkitousen? sus.. i fell in love with this babe the very moment i got hold of her.. hehehe

@giver_bert: Speaking of 'cast off', the first toys I saw with this feature were those made by Plastic Factory. Kato mga adult xxx p()rn$tar$.

I'm sure you guys also saw these so dili na lang nako post links or pics kay bawal post p* materials here - maski duwaan pa ni sila kay sa usa ka
online toy store apil sa description -

"Plastic Fantasy produced this line of action figures based on the girls of Vivid Adult Film fame. State of the art laser scanning and removable costumes combine to reveal each starlets most intimate details. PARENTAL NOTE: These are quite obviously NOT for children."
