Default Where do you buy your toys?

I just found out that HobbyShaft (BTC) is the provincial partner of GreatToys. http://www.greattoys.net/ecom/index....d=12&Itemid=55

Kahibalo mo kung pareha ra ila prices or expected dyud na mas mahal gamay HobbyShaft tungod shipping from Manila?

Side note: Ganahan ko customer service sa GreatToys kay paspas kaayo mu reply e-mail. I just hope they put up a better stock list with prices and pictures. Kay for now, mao ni
    hitsura, http://www.greattoys.net/ecom/itemlist/gtgh.htm.

Some of the pictures of their items can be found in their ProBoards forum, http://greattoysonline.proboards43.c...ard=newsletter.

they are selling thier items at least at 200% markup! and they're not just getting their goodies straight from Malvin (GT) they actually get, or to be blunt, hoard recent toy arrivals from malls and sell it at twice as much as they got it.

it's a pretty risky avenue for newbies.. they're very good at milking them..

@giver_bert: Thanks for the heads up bai. I'll just get my toys directly from GT. Although I rarely go to Manila, the company does send me there from time to time. I'll go there on April 10 and will stay until the 14th. I'll drop by GT and of course other toy stores in Greenhills to look for the toys I like to collect. Man, the last time I collected toys was way back in college (mostly Star Wars, GI Joes, and DC characters) but gave them away to my cousins. Now that I'm almost 40 and have a daughter who loves toys, the kid in me wants to collect toys again, he he.

OT: doesn't hurt to immortalize part of our individuality through toys..

naa paman daghan hobby shops didto aside from GT na mas cheaper pa siguro price.. depending on what toyline you're contemplating at getting.. naa sad mga cebuanos and istoryans didto like ryan, maldito.. perhaps, you could contact them and ask for tips on where to score a good deal..

    good luck!

@giver_bert: I already asked my sis to get Batman & Son: Batman from GT (what can I say, I really like the way it's sculpted, the best so far based on my limited knowledge of available Bats action figures) so I can't risk losing it to another person. P 950.00 (but I computed E-bay P 400 item + P 800 shipping so relatively speaking, barato na GT but yeah, there might be another store selling it cheaper but that's the price I have to pay for instant gratification). Pero, musuroy pud ko lain store didto and shop for the best prices. Tutal kahibalo naman ko sa akong gusto so I'll just bring a pencil and a piece of paper and write the store names and prices, he he he, then balikun pinakabarato.

@yoncha: Busy ra siguro (busy-ness man gud, har har har). Nitubag man siya sa akong e-mail maski one sentence ra. Kung unsa imo pangutana, mao ra pud iya tubagon pero naa sales pitch gamay. Dili pareha nako, tabi-an

Salamat sa bago source. Same floor ug lane ra man di-ay sila sa GT. Agi pud ko ani. Mas okay ila site kay naa na price ug pictures daan.

arrogant gyd na si malvin.. by personal account mas okay si Billy of Best Toys! hehe.. although i only got one item from him (Yamato 1/60 SV-51 Nora Scheme) but feeling close na kaayo mo dala ug storya.. with Malvin, mga 3 nasad ka valks ako na kuha niya, latest of which ang Yamato 1/48 Canon Fodder, pero medyo arogante gihapon mo answer ug inquiries..
