notice the focus is on the arm of the one holding the child not on the childs face...more accurately dapat sa eyes sa little girl dapat ang focus. practice pa gyud pre sa imo focusing using center AF nalang.

focus lock... then recompose... then shoot.

bitaw sa .. karon ra ko ka notice sa kamot da .. center AF raman tanan akong gamiton ron. bai wala kay shoot ron?

could your lens have a front focus problem? better check it while its still new...

tomorrow basin pwedi taka ma uban, check sa nako if i can get an extra pass for you...sa casino man gud hasul kaayo na sila...

pre, i had the reverse problem with my 70-200 kadtong nabaguhan pa ko sa AF. Nabuang nako hapit kay naay part sa center sa pic na out of focus but ang sides klaro kaayo. then na realize nako that i was below the minimum focusing distance, kay ang subject (gumamela flowers) slanted man. so, the lens would focus on what was beyond the minimum focusing distance but out of focus sa inside. karon conscious na ko sa minimum focusing distance, esp. pag close-ups.

i dunno unsa ang minimum focusing distance sa 50mm ni agoroy; he said 2 feet but it could be 2 feet to the kid. still, kay ang foreground man ang in focus, possible nga dili center-AF ang nagamit.

@markyap, bai unsaon pagkahibawo na i have front focus problem? unsaon pag test? mao ba ni ang mo center focus ko sa subject w/c is a few inches farther than it's nearest object and the nearest ones are a bit sharper than the subject? what aperture would be best for doing such test?
