Thats the problem many encounter. All clicks came form the same (your) ip address.
Now try to explain google that you did not click, but your customer within the lan... they won't listen and keep the account locked.

Why in the world would a majority of clicks come from a single IP LAN or otherwise anyway?

If you have 4 PC's in a lan, behind a router, all click come from your public IP... I got once the same issue and had a hard time to explain google (via their form) that I myself did not click my ads, but user in my lan did...
Google only see that clicks are coming from your public IP, and thats against their terms and conditions.

I understand that. My question was what are the chances that people in your LAN disproportionately and legitimately clicked on your ads as opposed to the rest of the internet? Highly unlikely. If the ads were so attractive to your users, others would have clicked as well in greater numbers. Anyone who is looking at logs is going to come to the same conclusion.

Thats correct, Vern. But some people (friends) believe they help you by clicking on the ads, without thinking about that it will cause problems. This happened to me once, thats why I mentioned it. Might have been another reason for the topic starter.

telling other people to click on your ads is the same as you clicking on your own ads.. it's better to tell people "look at my site" rather than "click on my ads"
