Alel, I believe that you were the one who was in the other thread. I was quite surprised that you were able to find this thread despite the fact that I was able to put this in another topic coz I dont think it really suits magic. Besides, the skill that you are able to get from these techniques that you are able to acquire in XCM is more of hand battle than of sleights, which is the main and basic concept of magic. In magic, the lesser movements, the better. By the way, I have written a reply to the previous thread that I mentioned to you. I hope that you read it well.

The interesting part of Xtreme Manipulation is its own art of manipulating objects that form a specific or rather more particular pattern. To put it bluntly, Xtreme Manipulation originates from the eras where hand training was required as a basic (take note: people of those times considered this skill normal, so if you dont know any manipulation techniques, they considered such naivete illiterate) and common knowledge for preparedness for combat. I bet that from your experience, you also know a lot about the history of magic and how it relates to the techniques of pickpocketing, lock picking, snatching, and outright deception. Its dark side, though, dates back to when the psychological approaches to hypnotic clocks were still at the level of experimenting. A minor percentage of bloodless
killings, some of which were used for experimental execution, were insanely connected with hypnotism. This, as we all know, quickly relates to the modern day hypnotic sleights we call Mentalism.

To date, both of them are used for public performance and entertainment and its methods have been granted permission to be executed by any means, for as long as they are only used for entertainment and as long as it does not violate the Intellectual Rights of a magician or mentalist.

I do XCM for my finger fitness though. Never showcased it with magic.

I admit I do flourishes when I perform magic once in a while, but they only consist of fans and the Piroutte Card Spin - no Sybils, Madonnas, Molecules or anything 'wicked'...hehehe
