the elimination process looks like this:

Range of scoring is 1-10 per contestant.

(1) preliminary rounds (all contestants)

30% Athletic Wear
30% Swim Wear
30% Evening Wear
40% One-on-One Interview

(2) semi-finals

25% Athletic Wear
25% Swim Wear
25% Evening Wear
25% One-on-One Interview
25% On-stage Interview

(3) finals

Following the on-stage interview, the judges are asked to stack-rank the contestants in the order in which they feel the contestants should place. No numeric score is given - each contestant is simply rated as "winner," "first runner-up," "second runner-up," etc. The place rankings of each judge are each awarded a point score. For each competitor, the points awarded are totaled and the contestant with the highest score is declared the Pageant winner. In the event of a tie, the tie will be broken by scores from One On-One Interviews, then On-Stage Interviews, then Evening Gown, then Swimsuit or Sportswear.
