    [color=navy]Either its HARASSMENT, PUNISHMENT or UNFAIR ASSESSMENT(FRAME-UP), maybe a combination of two or all three.

    Sus, this is why being in Philippine Politics is a whole lot like Mud Wrestling, a foolish sport where one is stripped down to one's undies and nobody, and I mean NOBODY, gets away clean.

    All in the name of grand show and entertainment.

    Default Ex-Cabinet members: GMA ‘at the center’ of corruption in NBN-ZTE deal

    Ex-Cabinet members: GMA ‘at the center’ of corruption in NBN-ZTE deal

    By Carmela Fonbuena

    After President Arroyo snubbed the demand letter they issued last week—calling on her to do five specific things—former senior government officials (FSGO) will issue a stronger statement against her today. But it still falls short of calling for her resignation.

    In a statement, The People Must Remind the President of Her Obligation to Public Trust—a draft copy of which was obtained by abs-cbnNEWS.com/Newsbreak—the FSGO said they find President Arroyo to be "complicit with and, in fact, at the center of, the corruption and cover up of the NBN-ZTE deal" because of her uncooperative stance towards the ongoing Senate investigation on the botched broadband deal with Chinese company ZTE Corp.

    "We express our loss of confidence in her," the group said . The former government officials, more popularly known as La Salle 60, consists of about 90 former Cabinet members. They earned their name after the 60 original signatories in the group’s first statement calling for incumbent Cabinet members to resign.

    Among these group’s members are the Hyatt 10 or Arroyo’s Cabinet members who resigned at the height of the ‘Hello, Garci’ scandal as well as Cabinet officials of past presidents, from Ferdinand Marcos to Joseph Estrada.

    While they are advocates of reform, it is unclear what the group’s end goal is. They are currently broken into clusters that are studying reform proposals for the next administration.

    "She (President Arroyo) must act to help bring out the full truth about this deal if her hands are truly clean. The Arroyo Presidency must shelter the truth or it will be judged as a fortress for lies," the FSGO said, lamenting the way "the President’s spokespersons were summarily dismissing these demands. Later her advisers even criticized and threatened us for making these demands."

    "We conclude that President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo refuses to serve the people's demand for truth about a matter of great public interest. We see in this refusal, despite ample chances and many sound reasons, a clear basis for our people to find her complicit with and, in fact, at the center of, the corruption and cover up of the NBN-ZTE deal," they said.

    para nako,
    ...it so happen nga ang mga perpetrators sa scandal kay mga "intelligent". They just know very well what they were doing.
    Mao it is very difficult if not impossible to get documetary evidence.
    ...ang sa una man gud, like erap...murag dili to sila kahibalo mo tago sa kabuang, mao nga yabo gyud si erap. Ang naka nindot kay si erap ang gibuthan sa tanan. daghan ang naka-eskapo.
    ...paglingkod sa bag-ong presidente, they now know how to hide their acts.

    corruption is evident in almost everywhere in our country...
    in our homes...one example: tan-awa ang mga bata, dili moka-on(bkfast/lunch/dinner) ug dili lingawon, taga-an ug kendi, palitan ug softdrinks, ice cream...etc. unsa-on na lang.
    usahay isig blackmail lay na lang ang ginikanan ug ang anak...

    And I bet walay usa nato dire nga mobalibad, if presented with a very huge amount of money in exchange for some favors.

    do u believe that our "crab mentality" does not also spare the ZTE mess?

    Filipinos polished the art of Crab Mentality. We even developed Crab Language.

    i just borrowed this from philippinepolitics.net forum:

    Commandments of a Govt Employee:

    1) Don't address anyone "ma'm" when speaking on the phone, else, the clowns in the Senate will testify that you spoke with GMA;

    2) Don't huddle with chinese people, else, your colleagues will testify you are negotiating for your commission;

    3) Don't forget Flip Crabs are mind-readers with X-Ray eyes.

    useless na iimpeach c abalos.ngresign naman cya..wen we say impeach, it is when the house resolution for impeachment is elevated in the senate.that is when he is impeahed..hence, we can file cases directly against him now..
