Not yet the end of the road for Houston. The Rockets defeated the Atlanta Hawks for their 20th straight win and is now tied with the 1970-71 Milwaukee Bucks for the all-time second best winning streak. They're still 13 away from tying the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers for the record.

They have the chance to claim solo second with 21 straight wins with Charlotte awaiting for their next game. But the end of the winning streak might near for the Rockets. A very tough schedule ahead.

Chris Paul finished with 26 points and 17 assists and David West had 29 points and 10 rebounds for the New Orleans Hornets to beat the defending champion San Antonio Spurs, 100-75.

The Spurs only managed to score 8 points in the fourth quarter. Prior to the game, the Spurs has limited 26 out of 30 opponents below 100 points per game.

Bruce Bowen had his 500th start and is the longest streak in the NBA.

Chris Paul had 2 steals in the first quarter and had at least 1 in all 61 games he has played all season long. It's also the current best record for the season.

    Spurs fall against Hornets

San Antonio shot 43 percent, going only 2-of-18 from 3-point range and a dreadful 7-of-17 on free throws. Tony Parker had a particularly rough night at the foul line, going 2-for-8.

The Spurs body-to-body defensive play resulted in a lot of foul calls and numerous players crashing hard to the court, but Paul worked through it and ended up surpassing 20 points and 15 assists in a game for the eighth time this season.

My Hawks suck. I knew it. Sakit nila kay kung naa gani injured na key player sa opposing team, mapilde dayon. Hahayz... Time to switch teams na lang siguro jud. Go Sixers! Hehe...

Anyway, tough schedule indeed. Next 9 games are:
at home vs. Bobcats, Lakers and Boston
on the road vs. Hornets, Warriors and Suns
at home vs. Kings and Timberwolves
and to finish the month of March, they visit the Spurs

There could be a chance that the Spurs are playing dead nowadays, OR, they just don't have the hunger na to win back the chip. However, we'll get to see if they still have that fire in the playoffs.
