Another point...
According sa bible The Israelites wanted to worship and proclaim The gloden Calf ba to as the God responsible for bringing them out of egypt but according sa bible wala ganahi ang God so HE destroyed some of them.
Again in that sense freewill is absolute because you can do whatever you want actually but then again there are cases that our freewill is limited so in that sense its not absolute.

mao bitaw na makadungog ta ug storya nga "WILLING AND ABLE"
in your illustration if willing gyud siya mo adto sa usa ka lugar, pwede biya siya mangita ug lain paagi nga maka adto by all means.. diba?

Even great preacher like Chuck Swindoll believes that freewill is not absolute or should i say the exercise of our freewill is limited within the boundaries that God has given.
Free will is a rule? Abi man nako ug free ang will because there is no rule attached to it. that's why Free Will because it's free, right? hmmm... something new?Originally Posted by amingb

ang napungan ato kay dili ang will niya oi... its just that HE WASNT ABLE TO GO tungod sa circumstances but IF HE IS WILLING jud moadto then daghan alternative para maka adto siya.. kana jud kung willing gyud siya ha.. hehe

Evangelical man kaha ka i think you need to ask your pastor about it. there are times that our freewill is limited w/in the will of God. Chuck swindoll position is the same as mine.
According sa Evangelical doctrine of soteriology, Salvation is according to God's sovereignty and not by man's freewill.
Israel's tendencies to worship other gods were examples of limited freewill, everytime nga mo supak sila sa Ginoo by following their Freewill, God will always at later times interfere sa ilang affairs.
Again i will make my point Ang pag exercise sa freewill is limited but by nature freewill is absolute.
If you will disagree on this then you are disagreeing to the fact that God interferes with our freewill. Anf also you are disagreeing sa position ni Chuck Swindoll.

Wala gyud koy supak ani kay tinood gyud ni. Pero wala biya ta naghisgot ug salvation ha...this is different na kay involve na biya ang salvation ani.
