I don't really own an 8800GT, I only have a 7300GT DDR3.
However, I was wondering is it really normal for new video cards to have an idle temp of around 50C with a stock cooling solution? Won't thaat kind of temp shorten the life span of a V.C.?
Also is it really necessary to buy third-party coolers to prolong the lifespan of Video Cards?
