Theo Ratliff will be back in Detroit where he played for the 1995-97 seasons. Ratliff will also be united with fellow 1995 first round draft picks Rasheed Wallace and Antonio McDyess.
Before reaching for a deal with the Pistons, Ratliff agreed to have a buy out of his fat contract, taking less for something more (having a solid shot at winning the title). Rumors surrounding that veteran forward/center Dale Davis will be returning to Detroit but later on, it proved to be wrong. With Ratliff, the Pistons now has the skill to match East's big men like Dwight Howard and Kevin Garnett.
The Pistons just got a lot deeper with Ratliff.

Miami and Atlanta 51.9 seconds rematch will include recent additions Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks of Miami and Mike Bibby of Atlanta. The league set a 51.9 seconds do over for the Atlanta Hawks-Miami Heat rematch last December 19, 2007 where Atlanta won, 117-111. Reviews later stated that a stat crew mistakenly rule that Shaquille O'Neal, still playing for Miami that time, fouled out.
The NBA gave a go signal that either team can field in any player in the last 51.9 seconds for the slot of those players who left. Other than Marion and Banks, the Heat's remaining options are Jason Williams, Smush Parker, and Joel Anthony, while for the Hawks the eligible players to be added for the replay are Josh Childress, Jeremy Richardson, and Speedy Claxton.
Miami will have ball possession as the replay starts and will trail 114-111. Right after the 51.9 second replay, both teams will have a 15 minute break before returning to the court for the scheduled contest.
The last time the NBA had a replay was in April 1983 to settle the 132-137 San Antonio Spurs double overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on December 1982. San Antonio won the replay, 117-114.

Don't worry the Rockets will just be fine. Mutombo!!! haha
Yao Ming is done for the season, that's what the reports say. Unfortunately for the Rockets, especially for Tracy McGrady, this is a big blow for their bid to get past the first round in the playoffs after a while.si Yao Ming ba, mka duwa pa cya nig playoffs? or wa na gyud na cya? sayang kaayo kung di cya maka duwa dah.
But who knows, Yao might heal fast and can suit up in the playoffs just like what Gilbert Arenas did. Arenas was reported to be inactive for the whole season but he's now practicing with the Wizards. He might be back after the season ends.
