Fender TS808? Fender TS9? you sure its a fender or an ibanez?

Anyway there is no real deal na unsa distortion na gamitun depends sa taste sa guitarist. i use analog mostly then add a BBE sonic maximizer at the last of the chain, just to beef things up.

Another essential ingredient here is the AMP that the pedal is in front of... My TS9 sounds WAY better pushing a tube amp than it does a non-tube amp. An overdrive pedal (such as the TS9) is not going to give you satisfying grind, saturation or sustain unless it's punishing an already-overdriven tube amplifier. As for bass, have you ever been to a rehearsal place and found that the bass amp on site sounds horrible? Well, I found a cool little pedal for fattening up your bass sound in such situations. It's the Behringer Bass BDI 21 (bass amp modeler - driver). It's a powerful little preamp pedal (with direct out) that gives you huge control over your bass tone. This pedal can turn a flat, no-bottom bass combo into a really good sounding rig. I was so impressed that I bought a 2nd one to keep as a spare. Definitely worth checking out...

Behringer's guitar amp modeler also works great on those kinds of amplifiers for the guitar. I can use it as an overdrive pedal or as an amp modeler for amps with so much knobs to play with that you don't have time to tinker with them on stage... just set all the knobs to mid and do your mixing with the amp modeler... work well for me...
