Konami has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 4 is due out on the PS3 as of June 12th. Looks like it's time to re-schedule those summer holidays and spend some quality time with what will easily be one of the most superb titles this year.

Wait, so theres a seperate game for the online version? MGS4 will only have a "starter pack"?

yup the full MGO will be released later on, no details yet on what accounts for a starter pack, i'm guessing limited stuff but its bundled with the MGS4 so i'm guessing different packages will be available on the PSN
