if you guys want GMA out, be prepared for Kabayan to assume presidency, is that what you want? unless the opposition can present a viable alternative, I doubt people will boot her out, people are just making fun of her haha

cheating/violating laws during elections... If inyo rason nga dili pwede dawaton ang tape kay gi-wiretapped... was ousting a president through mass civil disobedience written in the constitution or any law books?Originally Posted by LytSlpr
talking to a commissioner during a election proceedings is against the law... and again what's her business talking to a commissioner during elections. In one of the conversation Barber did asked Garci regarding cheating. Garci's business is vote padding, is GMA his customer?

The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it.
nope but it worked ousting erap. that's why it's called a revolution and a revolution can only work if it is supported by ALL. as i've said the recent scandal is not enough for people to oust her through people power or for the constitution to prosecute her.Originally Posted by FK
if talking to a commissioner is against the law, then have GMA prosecuted but I bet that she will not be impeached for that because AFAIK that is not in the provision of our constitution and a re-count for a President is far flung.
that's as realistic as it can get!
another point, as i've read sunstar today, june 17, an article in the business section says, "Businessmen throw support behind Gloria." Note that the businessmen did not give any condition whatsoever. The same is true in Manila and Davao. it made me think, where does the huge chunk or the masa work? or where do they run for charity? That only proves further that IF the business and religious sector will not join the protests then GMA can NEVER be ousted.

@LytSlpr:
she might have violated those words in bold.Section 2. The President, the Vice-President, the Members of the Supreme Court, the Members of the Constitutional Commissions, and the Ombudsman may be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, culpable violation of the Constitution, treason, bribery, graft and corruption, other high crimes, or betrayal of public trust. All other public officers and employees may be removed from office as provided by law, but not by impeachment.
what's your point in stating that the business community gives support to GMA, pasabot ba nga pasagdan na lang nato kay gisupportahan siya sa businessmen? The businessmen are not the only people in this country. We are seeking for the truth.
Again what's her business talking to a commissioner. Is she a customer of Garci?
O.T. i don't think EDSA 2 was really the voice of the majority... how many people have lined the streets... those are the people who don't like a drop-out president. Now they are blaming the opposition of destabilization, they all started it.
Whoever will succeed GMA -- either in the next Presidential elections or by whatever means! -- will still suffer the same fate of being accused as a puppet, corrupt, or as another Ferdinand Marcos in the making... hahay when will all of these end... when will we ever be able to get our acts together...
@FK: sir, if you want to go after GMA by all means do so... i did not say that we will just let her get away but for now we can practically and technically do nothing. your cause may be laudable but without enough basis it will remain just that. get the point?
ayaw sige tuyok2X FK. as much as you'd like GMA to be ousted, you don't have enough legal grounds for that. you still don't have full support from the people, businessmen and the religious sector. paghulat ra gud naa man due process if ever she's guilty or not. if you like GMA to be impeached, who do you like to take her seat? Noli? or ERAP ba?hehe pls God know... your talking about ERAP man gud. ganahan jud diay ka niya. imong nahibaw-an nga drop-out lang siya mao gipa-oust siya sa mga tawo... please... wake up...
