For me it doest desrve a 50 score.Maybe judges were just carried away by Howards antics..Dunking in Superman costume...Replays shows it's not a dunk..he actually throw the ball in the rim.

50 points pa gyud.ambot unsay criteria sa mga judges ani.
It was Howard's creativity and appeal. Wearing a Superman suit and doing a Superman dunk is something which made me think that someday, somebody will wear a Statue of Liberty costume to do a Statue of Liberty dunk.
The dunk was not that simple either. Throwing the ball to the rim is harder than dunking it and the last time I remember someone do it was Kevin Garnett against the Sacramento Kings. Other than that, look how high Howard leaped. It's very rare for guys of his size and height to leap that high.
What Howard did was one of a kind and it's so rare to see performances like that. It was unique and it even deserved something more than a 50.
heheh yeah! mujud na! his clearly a winner the three dunks were superberly amazingcreative kaau sya and thats what people want to see even though he dnt reach the rim.. for every person still think its a dunk
I love his first dunk behind the back board

As i read the articles and listed to his interviews before the slam dunk contest he was practicing his dunks for 2 weeks .. especially the superman dunkhe had to properly position his legs in a way everyone will think he looks like his flying in the air
As i watch the past slam dunk contests
I think this was the most unique slamdunk contest I have ever seen, well vince carter time was in a way very different![]()

Putting the ball in the rim without touching it can never be called a dunk in any basketball rule. The first two dunks deserves a higher point but the last one, I dont think so.Remember that is a dunking contest.
Maybe they have change the rules lol.

The judges and the refs are not that strict when it's the All-Star Weekend. You have to play everybody's imagination and give them something very entertaining and amusing, that's the essence of the All-Star Weekend.Putting the ball in the rim without touching it can never be called a dunk in any basketball rule. The first two dunks deserves a higher point but the last one, I dont think so.Remember that is a dunking contest.
Maybe they have change the rules lol.
