    Sony has applied to the FCC to change the specifications of the PSP "AK8PSP2001", which is thought to be the PSP-2000 series. There aren't many details on the changes as Sony has asked the FCC to keep them confidential, however it is believed that the changes will simply be for cost-reducing measures and does not indicate a new PSP series. The document states that "we change parts other than a wireless module. This is not to cause any modification to the mentioned electric characteristics and RF characteristics."

    Use 3.71’s Memory Stick Driver Under Custom Firmwares 3.80/3.90 M33 ;

    Few things to note:

    1. it’s probably a better idea that fatmsmod.prx is encrypted because it’s compressed and uses less flash space
    2. fatmsmod of 3.71 usually works better because it has a better cache system, and usually reads on bigger blocks (sometimes 3.80/3.90 reads more data than needed — lazy prediction)
    3. however this driver uses more kernel memory, and it’s unknown if it will have any kind of secondary effect running this module in 3.80/3.90 — use at your own risk
    4. the lags in np9660 no umd mode won’t probably be solved, as that is a different problem

    in terms of stability, stable pa din ang 3.71 compared to the 3.80 at 3.90 m33's. though may mga advantages ang mga higher firmwares. so you can use this has an option kung naka-3.80 or 3.90 m33 ka na. pero in my opinion, stable pa din ang 3.71 m33's.
