Just today, WGA strike has been declared officially over.
TV series and great movies can now resume.. hehe

WGA = Writers' Guild of America

or organization of screenwriters in Hollywood, one in East and one in West
=> towards the end of last year they launched a massive strike against Hollywood studios to get apiece of the movie video and internet sales... And just a day before Valentines (well, here, but it was probably still Feb. 12 there), around 94% of the members of the org signed up to end the strike after major studios and other guilds, i.e. DGA, came to a deal with them
