    If ang connection nimo ka smart bro direct sa imo router need ka ana server na OS. But if XP lang imo gamit dapat gateway nimo ang isa ka PC.

    what server OS do you mean bro? f ang gateway nako ang usa ka pc, so mapalong ang net if palongon nako ang usa ka pc (gateway)

    if ure only using the edimax wireless router the best way to block the laptop or in this case the other devices from accessing the internet is to go to security and configure it that u input the mac address of only the devices u want to connect to the internet....

    try this one...


    1. go to firewall
    2enable firewall click apply
    3.go to access control
    4.enable mac filtering
    5.choose allow
    6.click apply
    7.then type the mac address of the devices u want to connect to the internet and comment
    (to view ur device mac address is open command prompt)
    *.go to start then run
    **type cmd then enter
    ***a new window will appear type "ipconfig /all" without the quotes
    ****physical address is ur mac address
    ex.. mac:000EA7EC1DF8 comment: computer1
    8.click add (enter all the mac address of all devices you want to connect to the internet) if not entered they wont be able to connect to the internet
