On topic..Against ko ma state sa US ang Phils. the reason nga if ma state ta nila, they can (in our face) manipulate our resources, nga unta kita ang mogamit, dayon minus the discrimination isyus, other is, we are an open target sa mga enemies of US. See Hawaii...Pearl Harbor, We know that they have penetrated their powers thru installing puppet government thru the face of the President. Then, exploit our country, and giyurajan atong soberenya, thru treaties nga pabor alang nila...Mutual Defense Treaty and VFA's....naa pa daghan pero unya na lang ang uban.

Anyways on topic - ako Pro statehood ko but I have a question for you guys. Let's say ma State na ang Philippines bale and we will be no different from ... let's say Texas or Las Vegas kai US State naman pud ta. Ang ako question is - wouldn't the Americans take good care or its own States? My point is ... I don't think the US would just let Chicago go down the drain or Miami or for this matter the Philippines kai US State naman ta. We will be no different from any State in the US.

I'm definitely a PRO.... but then again it would be impossible to achieve..

I like greyfox's post... being practical... too much patriotism has caused more hunger... besides we were all created by GOD as one.... therefore too much Patriotism and Nationalism is being selfish.. Just take a look at another issue (Divide Cebu)... such has only bred regionalism instead of unity..
