motorola rokr e1 problem (master clear)

Hello,

I accidentally performed a master clear using smartmoto before performing a backup. What I wanted was actually master reset. I have a backup of my contacts though but not the system files of my mobile fone. I cancelled the smartmoto master clear before it's gets to 10% of what it's doing. Luckily, I still have the photos, some icons and ringtones inside. The problem is, I cant get into the 'personalise' menu, under 'settings'. I cant customise the 'quick menu'. All the rest seems to work like the java games, vassio itunes(i did re-install), sms and call features. I performed a master reset but it's not working. I think I messed the internal settings of the system. I have MPT, MotoMidMan, SmartMoto & P2Ktools.

Is there a way I can recover my phone just like the first time I got it? I know there are flashing and seem update, w/c I havent performed yet.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

pero naa lang gihapon ang 'personalize' menu ?
if not, just it add it up on your existing mma_ucp...

if that won't work,
reflash or full-flash nalang,
an istoryan here named -aridoasis is a guru on Rokr E1, he might be of help.
but i don't think he's into moto modding anymore.

the personalize menu is still there pero wen u click on it,nothing happens. dli ma open

wer can i possibly safely download files to flash my fon? and what software to use?

check w/ HexEditor if offset 93 -bit 1 is turn-on,
that's the seem edit for enabling the Personalize menu.

You mean bit operation 1 is checked ang hex = 93? It's unchecked, nothing is checked. Hex, Binary, Dec, no values. Nothing is written in the box. Should I supply it with the values you mentioned and save to phone? I'm using P2KTools 0.8.6 build 406.

i have never tried editing seems w/ P2k tools, HexEditor ra ako gamit.
and this how offset 93 w/ bit 1 turn-on looks w/ HexEditor - (personalize menu enabled)
btw, i have tested it only w/ my v3i (i don't have a Rokr), so try it at your own risk.
pero usually ang v3i seem edits parehas rasad sa e398 rokr e1, etc and vice versa edits

edit:
i did a little research and it turns out that if Quick menu is enabled,
personalize menu function is disabled by default.
P2KTools, click "Hidden Settings" and check to see if you accidentally enabled Quick Menu. If you did, then just clear the checkbox, save to phone, and restart phone. If that doesnt help, then you can check the SEEM's below.

Enable/Disable Quick Menu (you want this off)
Seem 0032_0001
offset 3E - bit 5: Office Tools > Quick Menu (1 on, 0 off)

if above solutions won't work,
then we might consider flashing as our next option.

first of all, thank you for your very detailed response. :mrgreen:

sa picture, d nko ma claro ang value sa hex. is it FF? sa status field, wla jud check sa akong fone. maybe that's the reason.

about Quick menu, that's not the case sa akong fone b4 i accidentally performed 'master clear'. quick menu, that's with the navi key, was working well and 'personalise' was available. i even changed the values sa navi keys. am i right? quick menu sa navi keys? but one thing, quick menu is listed but wen i click on it, nothing happens. the same problem sa personlise menu now.

i will try your suggestions at my own risk. hehe. it might work.

suwayi nalang ask for a working 0032_0001 Rokr E1 seems sa motomodders.net or modmymoto forum.
upload their working seems sa imo phone.
if that won't solve the issue, reflash a rokr frimware or flash a Rokr E1 monsterpack.

pero kung gusto ka, e-upload imo 0032_0001 seem,
then ako na mag-edit for you.
bisag sa seem ra gyud na, diay.
