(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo should resign despite her congressman-son's decision to go on an indefinite leave of absence because she has "lost total credibility and moral authority," Senate Minority Floor Leader Aquilino Pimentel insisted on Monday.
"I still insist that Gloria resign because she can no longer lead the country with all the scandals. She has lost total credibility and moral authority," said Pimentel.

"She could no longer effectively govern the country and command the respect of the Filipino nation, especially if she insists on staying in power,” the pro-opposition senator said. “For the sake of the greater welfare of the nation, President Arroyo should make the supreme sacrifice and resign.”

If the President does not resign, “she is only inviting more trouble for the nation,” Pimentel said, adding that he is not encouraging people to take to the streets. “I want it done the way of the Constitution.”

Please do a Nixon, GMA. Ayaw na pabaga diha. Ayaw na paugat. Wa na yoou are our "former" ug "ex" President Macapagal Arroyo.
