General Information:
Rosehip Oil is a product obtained from the seeds of a native plant (Rosa off. Rubiginosa linee) which grows spontaneously on the south of Chile. It is a product with skin healing, regenerating and rejuvenating properties, unmatched by any other product developed so far. The secret lies in its composition. Rosehip Oil is very rich in non-saturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, particularly oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids. These acids are noble substances, indispensable for areas with a high index of proliferation of new cells, such as those of the face.
Uses:
Scars – Attenuate scars (surgical and accidental) and improve their color (reduces redness or hyper pigmentation). Prevent formation of keloid type scar (lump) which may appear after surgical procedures and help make less apparent scars left by acne or chicken pox.
Dry skin – hydrates skin almost instantly to restore a much needed moisture balance frequently lost by climatic and environmental conditions such as dryness and air toxicity.
Burns – provide excellent results in treatment of skin that has been burnt or exposed to radiotherapy.
Stretch Marks – shows effective results on stretch marks that usually appear in adolescence and after pregnancies. It is recommended that women who are pregnant should start using I throughout the first months. Rosehip Oil should be gently applied on the belly, buttocks, thighs and breasts.
Directions:
Clean the area of the scar thoroughly and apply the oil on dry skin with a soft massage. Two or more generous daily applications of the oil are recommended.
What to expect:
The effects will be noticeable after three to four months; skin will recover it’s elasticity and the color of the skin will improve significantly.
With old, traumatic dermal scars, it will take longer to see any effects and it will depend on the age of the scar and the age of the person.
