There will come a time when Davao will be the best not because it's got the highest tower, or the most malls but because it will be destined to be, and if its people continue to be responsible stewards of its true blessings.

It is here one finds the undeniable BEST:

MT. Apo, the TALLEST country's peak and one of the most diverse flora and fauna in the world. Kini priceless experience kung suroy lang istoryahan.

Philippine Eagle, world's NOBLEST flyer and the NEXT LARGEST eagle in the world. Seeing the Eagle eye-to-eye and hearing its piercing cry is a rare exhilirating experience.

Waling-Waling, considered among the most BEAUTIFUL orchids by jaded enthusiasts. The more you stare at this flower, the more you get to understand why.

BOUNTIFUL fruits, lots of it. People with jaded palate will never forget the taste of durian once they experience it, and they will seek for this unique experience bisan asa pa sa kalibutan mapadpad.

By city area, Davao rightfully is the LARGEST city with size comparable to any mid-sized province in the country.

Even with the simple pleasure of drinking the waters here, Davao has the NEXT BEST water in the world acording to research, next only to the Netherlands.



The City itself can easily be considered among the Cleanest, Greenest, with among the more Disciplined citizens to compare with other cities. This is something that any visitor with exquisite standard will admire. The culture here is Rich and Diverse and one has to be cultured and sophisticated enough to deal with the diversity. Regionalistic behaviors will only be embarassed for their narrow-mindedness.

Importante kaayo nga basehanan ang kalimpyo sa usa ka syudad kay dinha makita and quality sa mga nagpuyo, dili lalim magpabiling limpyo ang usa ka dakong siyudad, but Davao is able to make it (except when undisciplined outsiders bring their barbaric trait of throwing garbage anywhere when visiting here).

Narrow people disregard the fragility of Nature with wanton 'development'. There will come a time when they will reap the consequences of their actions with their city getting over-polluted and suffer from such basic resources as water. Hopefully people in Davao will continue to regard highly the importance of Nature in developing the city, she will be rewarded for it more than others could comprehend.

It seems mas disciplinado mga tao to compare with other places not because they fear the mayor (our mayor is actually one of the amiable people one encounters except of course if one is a criminal, our mayor is intelligent how he bases his discipline with consideration to justice and fairness) but because they are getting to be mature enough to appreciate it.

Those that do not know how to appreciate these things that really matter and only base standards with narrow reasons are actually the ones who still need a loooong way to go. Davao has reached some of these while others still struggle.

Simply, Davao can achieve the best without having to compete with any city on this matter.
