SHAQ will play center while AMARE will play FORWARD as he is really a natural FORWARD and not a center...
di nalang padulaon sa suns si shaq hangtod playoffs kung mao na... para maka rest pud iyang lawas... hehehe

I really thought they have a big chance this year. but without marion.. murap hanap hanap na..

what was Steve Kerr thinking? wala nay depensa si shaq. too old na..pero wa pa ta kita ni shaq niduwa.. lets just see what happens.

shaq is still that bulky body inside the paint... i think mao na ilang gipangita... ang they get what they were looking for. with some disadvatages of course...

tiguwang na si webber uy... segunda ra pud siyang shaq... but the good thing for golden state was, wala silay gibaylo nga player to get him. unlike sa suns, they gave up one of their best players in marion to get shaq.

It won't matter if they're old as long as they can still play. Just because Shaq is not as good as Marion doesn't mean that the Suns aren't as good, they could even be a lot better with a solid inside presence.

nobody exactly knows how this move would pan out.
but I still think this trade favors the Suns more than the Heat in the next couple of years.

If this would work out better for the Miami Heat:
then everybody will say Pat Riley is a genius. Steve Kerr is an ass.

If this would work out better for the Phoenix Suns:
then everybody will say that Steve Kerr is a genius. Pat Riley is an ass.

that's just how it goes specially in the media.

Steve Kerr recognized the need to make a move RIGHT NOW because 1) Steve Nash is not getting any younger 2) the Suns would now have somebody to neutralize the Tim Duncan's of the world, Yao Ming, Andrew Bynum etc etc... no more double teams.

Shaq's presence in the middle in both the offensive and the defensive end would be the most important part of this deal. Amare would be relegated to the power forward slot and he would have a lot more energy in the 4th quarter because he won't be battling centers like in previous years. the Suns defense would be focused on other teams outside shots. the more missed shots from long range, the better they can execute their run and gun play.

Yes, Shaq is a little bit older, slower and more foul prone etc etc but 15 pts. 8 rebs and 2 blocks per, given the number of games missed this season, is still a big help.

ONE IMPORTANT THING: Shaq didn't have Steve Nash in Miami.

Let's see how old, how slow Shaq would be if he'll get a lot of opportunities around the basket like what Amare had in previous years. Let's see how it would motivate him to get up and down the court knowing full well that he'll get more touches with Steve Nash manning the point. getting a lot of dunk opportunities would motivate any player... and that includes Shaq.

this is where we would see how Nash would utilize the two monsters in Shaq and Amare. expect a dunk-fest everytime the Suns roll to the court.
Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!
