There's a blues and latin night every month at Handuraw Cafe'. The last was on June 3, The bands that played were: Graehme Elmido and the blue gray band, Brown Magus and Hardwood. Unfortunately not too many people showed up. It would be great if blues afficionados and I'm sure there are legions out there (albeit in the fringes) would support this event.

Regular gyud ni every month bro? Murag wala man kaayo ni ma-advertise. Nus-a man ang next blues event?

Any updates on the blues "tipon-tipon" as suggested on this thread? I'm still optimistic that something good will happen sooner or later, that this will push-through. Kabalo ko nga daghang blues lovers dinhi sa cebu, wa lang (ta) ma-organize.

Any ideas mga bro on how we could go about this "gathering?" All suggestions would be appreciated.

serpentboy: buy eric clapton live in hyde park, the harpist is jerry portnoy, you probably heard about him already...also dave matthews band performance of the song 'all along the watchtower' in the swept away album features a realy good harmonica player...i still ahve yet to find out who the person is.
