There will be no doubt about the Lakers now, not unless if Pau Gasol will have series of serious injuries. Kobe Bryant has been proven already with or without solid support, and with the fast improving Andrew Bynum, veteran point guard Derek Fisher, and reliable veteran Pau Gasol, the Lakers are in serious contention. This is a tough test for the defending champion Spurs. Another Spurs-Lakers match in the playoffs?

Good match for the conference finals.

East: Boston vs Cleveland
West: San Antonio vs Los Angeles Lakers

Finals: Boston vs Los Angeles Lakers

But still I want Steve Nash to win his first NBA title.

Don't underestimate Boston's capability. Though the Pistons is the more experienced team and has the better chemistry, Boston is more title hungry, especially Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen. These three superstars all had their share of frustrations in the NBA and playing along side each other is a chance of a lifetime for them to win an NBA title. For sure they will not let the opportunity slip.

Detroit -- More established.
Boston -- More determined and strongly driven.

As for the Lakers, I just wish that Pau Gasol won't get injured for most of his playing days in Los Angeles. Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum, Pau Gasol, and Lamar Odom, the Lakers has a serious wrecking crew.
