Oh.. Do i said that I hate davao? - You don't have to say it, for us to feel it boy.
and did I say its not worth visiting? - And did you say it's worth visiting? Show me the link.

No mate... I was just giving facts... - You're not giving facts, you're just giving your opinion which i tried to correct but desperately ignored by you.

maybe its not logical for you to say that Task Force being disployed in the city are not sign for having some future attacks.
because we all know someone keeps challenging them.. that why they are there to guard the borders, or the citizens.
you can't find that in some major cities except Manila. - As I have said over and over, even New York and London are helpless over terrorists and davao task force are there to guard whatever eventualities might happen in the future, not only for terrorists man, but to maintain peace and order to the whole davao territory. Nakita mo yung feature ng ABS-CBN about 9 forest rangers guarding some mountains in luzon? pinaglalaruan lang sila ng mga poachers. at least sa davao, the LGU is trying to increase the numbers para naman hindi katawa tawa. mind you, davao task force guard not only the public streets but the mountains, borders, public parks, basta publicly owned.

in a foreigner points of view, its not good mate. or any other person who wants to visit a place for the first time.
it maybe safe for them but do they feel the same way?
not only to foreigners but also filipinos who haven't visited your place yet. - In your foreigner's point of view, but from our foreigner's point of view it's A-OK. iba iba ang tao pare, meron gusto ng riot meron ding gusto ng peace meron din gusto ng riot and peace. so both worlds are satisfied.

we're just having conversation mate, so that those persons who wants to visit davao will know
same as to others who will visit Cebu. - Will know what? your twisted facts?

that's why the thread was titled "cebu or davao? asa nindot suroyan?" - And my answer is both.

hehehe, Ive been living in a different place in Mindanao mate. I've seen worst
since before my elementary... - Sorry to hear that, warshock to the bone?

yeah.. lets leave this to the readers - Yeah

Para pud nako, lain2 man kada lugar and each has something beautiful to offer. Lahi2 gyud ang experience kada lugar. Really.
Nindut gani unta suroyon tanan. If only i have plentyyyyyyy of cash, i would go to all the different places here in the Philippines.

"Different folks, different strokes."
Unya kanang mga wa ka adto both cebu ug davao, di lang sa unta mu comment kung wla pa naka explore both places.
Maypa manuroy ta davao na.. Adto ko didto puhon, sa summer, God willing.

No mate... I was just giving facts... - You're not giving facts, you're just giving your opinion which i tried to correct but desperately ignored by you.
I see so aside from correcting the facts, you also correct my opinion?

maybe its not logical for you to say that Task Force being disployed in the city are not sign for having some future attacks.

My point here is, why would a place need this kind of big force? its because your mayor knows what are possibilities.... davao always get a threat you already know why... reason whyyyy you do have that kind of force installed.

in a foreigner points of view, its not good mate. or any other person who wants to visit a place for the first time.

yeah, iba ang tao pare... how much is the average?... of tourist visiting davao per month? I guess, iba ang tao pare... huh

we're just having conversation mate, so that those persons who wants to visit davao will know

to know the real situation in both places.. not twisted facts as you said...

@taga_ipil, ok here it goes for the reader's enjoyment.

when I hate a place I say it straight-in your face - one more time, dumudugo na ang ilong mo sa kakadeny, you don't have to say the word "hate" for anybody smarter than a 5th grader to understand your true feelings boy. telling it straight on my face wont make a difference believe me.

and did I say its not worth visiting? - And did you say it's worth visiting? Show me the link. [b]read my prev thread if I said one -did you get my reply correctly? i said "DID YOU SAY IT'S WORTH VISITING?". mao jud sakto ka wa jud kay gisulti.

I see so aside from correcting the facts, you also correct my opinion? -i am correcting your opinion because you said it is the fact. truth is you didn't even care to provide links to support your opinion. the burden of proof is on you because you are the one accusing davao of having a curfew at the time of your visit. karon kung dili ka pa correct sa imong opinion, let it be an opinion, ayaw sya himuang fact nga perahas sa imong presentation, kuha?

My point here is, why would a place need this kind of big force? its because your mayor knows what are possibilities.... davao always get a threat you already know why... reason whyyyy you do have that kind of force installed. -ngano dugay man ka pasabton jud nga simple ra man unta kaayo ni nga issue. nagabasa ba ka sa akong reply? i said over and over and over and over again that a city as huge as davao 244,000 hectares (2 million population) 3 times bigger than the whole metro manila, even a 20,000 police is not enough to ensure peace and order (kinsa na lang mobadlong sa among maoy nga silingan). oh boy, morag sa akong tanaw sa imong tubag makita nako nga gusto nimo sa 10,000 ka tawo naa lay 1 ka police mobadlong sa mga 500 ka tawo nagwild kay gibulagan sa ilang uyab. kabalo ka kinsa ang numero uno nga threat sa pilipinas dili man terrorista, kung dili kitang mga pilipino. kinsay mobadlong sa mga tawo kung magpataka ug labay sa basura, magmaoy sa kalsada, dili mo sunod sa mga ordinance, mga petty crimes dili ba mga police? kung gamay ra imong police force, mao na nga nagkalat ang basura kay kitang mga pilipino gahi tag ulo. mao na nga naay task force motabang sa police. dili lang terrorista pare, sus bisan pag 1 million ka army, 1 ra ka terrorista ang katapat ana. sa davao pare malipay ang mga tawo makakita ug mga police ug mao nay sakto, dili kay gikahadlukan. hunahunaa pod ang good side, kung walay hate sa imong hunahuna simple ra na sabton.

yeah, iba ang tao pare... how much is the average?... of tourist visiting davao per month? I guess, iba ang tao pare... huh -nia ang link pare
http://www.lakbaypilipinas.com/blog/...-in-davao-city dili man siguro mo increase ang tourists arrivals dri kung way ayo ang peace and order situation.

only one answer mate, Cebu -there goes your regionalistic pride no problem about that

I'm used to it. -well, sad to say i'm not used to it, i live in peace and harmony.

note: wala may personalan diri, tubag tubag ra man ni sa saktong paagi

    @worldpeace - for the reader's enjoyment.

ngano mo deny man ko kung walay ideny dodong

and also did you care to provide me alink also that Davao never had a curfew?
"since martial law" as you have said...

so is that the total statistics for tourist arrival in davao?...
so when it comes aha nindot suroyan... Cebu jud diay...(mao man ni discussion )

we'll ikaw una nihatag sa statistics...look at the statistics of cebu just in 2007 alone
    http://www.sunstar.com.ph/static/ceb...mber.2007.html
    a whooping 8.8 percent from 2006.

is that what we call a regionalisti pride? hehehehe
we are discussing kung asa nindot suruyon... only one answer needed
and its obvious basing on the statistics...

I think your still in martial law... what ever your mayors dictate.. you follow
take for example your Christmas. (I know daghan klaseng pagcelebrate sa xmas)
but my point here... unsa ang i-dictate sa mayor maoy ma-sunod.

people will not notice or complains from it, if they are used to it.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
like worldpeace said... tubag-tubag rani.. kung mosabay mo di maayo para lingaw.
