ok OT pod: pero wa ko kasabot, gi assume nimo nga naay curfew ato kay gipagawas mo sa botique o mall? ang curfew sa akong pagsabot kanang dili naka pwede maglakaw sa kalsada pag abot sa gi set nga time ug depende pod kung naa bay age limit sa curfew. ug mao nay akong giingon nga wala nahitabo sa davao. kung curfew sa sulod sa mall imong gipasabot lain na nga istorya hahaha basin si marcos tag iya ato nga mall. pwede pod red alert lang sa police. and correction dili lang ko davao ganahan, ganahan pod ko cebu kay dili man ko guot ug utok hehe.

dili pod siguro pare kay kun ibutang nato mas progressive ang cebu unya laid back ang davao, naa may tawo nga ganahan ug laid back naa poy ganahan ug progressive. naay tawo ganahan ug morag Makati iyang makit an, naa poy tawo ganahan morag palawan. so nganong pildi gana man? basta ingon ani gani nga thread expect na lang jud ta nga ang tubag davao or cebu. mas maayo cebu and davao. kung pulihan ni ug cebu or hongkong, na mao ra gihapon moingon pod ang taga hongkong nga pildi gana. tuyok2 lang.

ok ra na pare, makita nako nga inlove kaayo ka sa cebu so unsa pa may eexpect nato ana. sirado na imong huna huna sa cebu ug wala na nimo gitagaan ug chance ang davao sa imong huna huna to think 3rd most important city na sya sa pilipinas after manila and cebu. imo man nang opinyon, pero kung sa ako pod nga opinion, ang mga lugar nga wala pa nako naadtoan special na sila tanan. kung naa lang ko kuarta suroyon ko na sila tanan ug dili ko mobalik sa ako nang naadtoan. ang akong motto is "one visit each to 100 thousand different places is much better than a 100 thousand visits to the same familiar place".

nope. curfew mismo kay naa nag-patrol aside sa check point sa nga among naa-gian padung pauli.(ghunong mi.. then check)
sorry pero dili sab ko usa sa guot ug utok... i just been in those places nga gi-ingon nila nindot like davao and manila...
I was workin in Manila for almost a year... but these three places... Cebu is the best.
that's why I choose to live here and not one of those two...

and besides.. those two cities gets the bombing threat everyday... (sorry but you can't deny that)

as i've said i don't care what city is best, afterall, anybody can always say that "i live in manila for 3 years, 2 years in cebu, 2 years in davao, but i really like bacolod city among the rest that is why i live here". get the point? what i am just trying to clarify is your statement that there is a curfew in davao. and basing on your bold statement above, that is not a curfew. that's the 2,000 strong davao task force in action. if you don't have an idea what is davao task force, let me summarize it. aside from the standard police force normal in every city, davao city allocated 300 million for the davao task force. it's civilian in nature just like the police but instead of reporting to the ARMY or the POLICE, they are under the LGU or local government unit of davao. in short, they are like security guards of davao. they do check points sometimes, and they are manning the outskirts and the davao borders. davaoenos are proud of the davao task force, walang reklamo mga tao about them.

i hope nagkakaintindihan na tayo, davao city never had curfew implementation since the martial law. you can walk 24/7/365 in davao without fear of being imprisoned, unless you have done something illegal.

and please be humble about the bombings, no city is safe even newyork for that. be thankful that cebu never (hope until my lifetime) experienced some bombings, and hope that if ever it will have one explosion someday, it is capable enough of handling the situation. don't challenge the terrorist, it's not healthy.

I beg to disagree.. u cannot say theres nothing special about davao coz naa man mga places that are worth going to.
Im from cebu, but i have stayed in dvo also for 2yrs.
In terms of shopping, night life, cebu gyud ko kay dghan kayo mga u wanna buy but u cant find it there in dvo.

Naa man gihapon mga places worth seeing in dvo. ANd i like the weather there, much better ilang weather there than here. Also the water.. though OT na, kay suroyan ra man atong gisturyahan.

And, i think sometimes, its not the place... its HOW you enjoy the place. Its who you are with enjoying that place. Its also, partly, with the budget...

nope.. I'm not challenging those terrorist but the mayor in davao is the one challenging it.
giving a hand sign to them and saying bad words to them.. I wonder
there are 2000 strong task force hehehe maybe its not a curfew then...
but a security or precautionary measures.. huh!

how could a citizen complaint if they are already used to it...
