all i can say about sa mga resorts didto like :

budyong, bati bitaw jud ang service ug ang lugar kay mga 2 years ago naa mi kaila nga ni transfer na lang sa kota kuyog namo kay pwerte daw ka bati sa service.

st. bernard, ok man pud kay naka visit mi didto mga 4 years ago. its just that its located on the other side of the pier. hehe.

sugar beach, basta bayad lang mo, ayos kaayo kay ok raman ang rooms and no need for the services kay wala man sila restaurant didto. pwede ra ka magpaluto kay inato kaayo. other than that you are free to go about enjoying your vacation.

been there just last sun-mon (jan27-2. stayed @ kota beach in sta. fe.
travel expenses:
-Bus from North Bus Term.- Hagnaya = 55php (non-aircon -- left at 4:20 am, they say a/c buses leave at 6:am - just check though)
-Hagnaya to Sta. Fe Boat =150php (145php for non a/c) (no fastcraft sailing when we arrived at 6:40 am - very fast among driver - murag raikonnen.hehehe)
-motorcycle/tricyle to Kota Beach = 15php/head
-Beach front cottage (Kota) = 1,700php (non beach front = 1560php)

-you can also rent a motorcycle for one day to tour around the island = @ 200php
- breakfast @ the restaurant is at 160php (filipino breakfast - 2 farm eggs, choice of: tapa/danggit/sausage, plain/garlic rice, coffee/chocolate plus fruit juice.)
-there are cheaper carenderia though around sta fe market.
- a bottle of 12 oz. coke costs 30php!
- delicious food outside the resort = Marisquera O'Portuguese duol sa Sta. Fe market. 12 oz. coke still costs 30php though. pero lami ila food!
-there's only 1 ATM in the island! it's in Bantayan - pero dawat mn credit cards ang mga resorts..
-terminal fee of 5php for the municipal govt, another 5php for the port authority when you leave the island.

- am sure resort rates increase during holy week - so, i think it would cost you more during peak season. but if you want to just unwind, go on an off-peak season...

if night life gyud ang ganahn ninyo, if dili holyweek, mingaw gyud ang bantayan, pero relaxing kaayo plus nindot ang dagat....mostly sa resorts sa Pinas mingaw gyud basta dili holy week, panglao, bantayan, malapascua and others..only ang Boracay ang nindot ang night life all year round....
