Hi Guys,

I need your help/opinion on what to do:

Problem description:
-no display in the monitor (wont display boot either)
-pc front led for power button is lit
-processor fan turns on
-led on the MOBO near the video card lits
-reseated everything
-tried a new power supply but still the same problem...

Does your keyboard blink during bootup start?
Try removing external peripherals during booting such as mouse, keyboard, video cam, usb disk, etc.., then boot it up.
Sometimes the 5V line is loaded and your PSU won't restart.
If it boots up, one by one connect them and to determine the culprit by trial and error.
You could do this trick also on multiple memory dimms and pci cards (modem, lan, etc).

Is your internal speaker is connected? If no, connect it and take note of the beeps length and sequence.
This will identify your problem.

3 short beeps : videocard

no beep : remove videocard. then boot.. 3 beeps? : video card is dead..replace..
: install a new videocard. boot.. no beep still ?
: remove video card. replace it with a PCI videocard..boot.
: yes? > ur AGP port is dead.
: no? > green valley computers.

no beep : remove videocard. then boot.. no beep? : erase the contact of ur memory with eraser..be careful..
ayaw ig-a ang way labot.
no beep : remove memory . then boot.. long beep? : replace memory
then boot.. no beep? : ur mobo is dead

Either guba imo vcard or nasuyop saksak nimo ang monitor to cpu cable.
